WELCOME

Taking the first step is the hardest, and I am so glad you are here. Welcome to Ashley Arnold Therapy where we will use compassion, evidence-based practice, and human connection to assist you in your healing journey.

About Me.

Professional Journey

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California and earned my master's degree from the University of Tennessee. I also obtained my PMH-C (perinatal mental health clinical certification) from PSI. I moved to California in 2020 and started my post graduate career working in adult mental health services. I have been fortunate enough to have a wide range of training and career opportunities. I have experience providing psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and their families with a focus in DBT treatment. I also have experience in the medical setting, providing psychosocial evaluations and treatment to patients undergoing transplant evaluations and post transplant care.  I have been in private practice since 2024 and feel privileged to walk beside my clients as they bravely face the most difficult aspects of their past, present, and future. I believe in a client centered approach, meaning we will work together to determine the direction of your treatment and take your physical, social, emotional, and environmental factors into consideration so that we are attending to your entire being, with all of your layers and intricacies.

Personal Journey

I am originally from East Tennessee. I moved to Monterey, CA in 2020 where I met my husband. We then moved to the Bay Area in 2022 and now call the Inner Sunset district of San Francisco home. We have a beautiful baby girl who has transformed our lives and is our greatest teacher. We also have a dog and two cats that are a vital part of our family. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family camping, hiking, or a nice day at the park. I have visited 15 National Parks and hope to explore even more! I am a big sports fan and enjoy watching baseball and football games with friends and family. I have a lot of house plants (mostly kept alive by my husband) and have recently been enjoying cooking and baking meals to share.
